Doveton vs Chelsea

Doveton Under 9's (Julien) defeated Chelsea 7-2. The game kicked off pretty quick with two early goals coming from Fabian Mastrioanni. Zachary Costin then scored a lucky goal from a great ball played in by Jack Vinci. Zachary then made a great cross in that Ali Sulemanovski was able to convert into a goal making it 4-0 going into the half time break. 

Not far into the second half Chelsea were able to get a lucky goal caused by a doveton mistake in the goal square. they then got another goal shortly after before Doveton got back in control with a goal from Jacob Costin who played fantastically in centre midfield. We then got lucky again when Chelsea scored an own goal! To finish off the goal scoring efforts Marc Van Boxtel got his first goal for the season!

Tristan Waldegrave, Dionis Shabani, Miyru Fernando, Lahiru Fernando and Alex Piasentin all did well with Alex deserving a special mention for having probably his best game of the season so far.

Next week we play away against Dandenong Thunder which should be a good game.
